We are looking for a Russian-speaking nanny for our one-year-old daughter. We have just moved to London from New York and are currently living in temporary housing near Islington-Angel, but plan to be moving within the next couple of weeks to either north London (Zone 2, around Hampstead/Belsize Park) or Clapham/between the commons in south London. We have some flexibility in terms of hours -- it can be anywhere from 15 hours/week to 30 hours/week, if it's a good fit. Days/hours are flexible and we can adjust to the right nanny. Two important requirements: (1) The nanny must have conversational English (to be able to communicate about day-to-day things with my non-Russian-speaking husband). (2) If the job would be for more than 15 hours/week, we would need to pay on the books (taxes, etc.). We are looking to pay GBP 10/hour (take-home after taxes).
